Peak Academy FAQ's

Frequently asked questions

What student support do you offer?

This is what makes us stand out in the many online learning platforms. We have several ways in which we support students. Firstly – our tutors – They take the time to understand what the problem is and assist students with tools to help. Secondly we have a student co-ordinator who forms part of a support team. This means that the student co-ordinator will check in with students from time to time as well as revisit the onboarding (orientation) if need be.

Do you offer new courses each year?

Although Peak Academy is primarily for high school students studying the British International curriculum we intend on creating new short courses that students will be able to add to their portfolio of extra-curricular courses studied. These will include courses such as coding, Tefl course and many others.

Where would a student write their final external exam?

Students are required to register with a local examination centre in their geographic area. Peak Academy will assist parents and students with the registration process. It is important to remember that the responsibility to register and make payment for the subjects lies with the parent and student.

What do I need to enroll?

We have made sure that this process of enrolment is quick and simple. All you need to do is click on the apply now tab and complete the online application form. Please make sure that you submit the following supporting documents:

A Copy of Parent or Payees Indentity Document.

Student latest report.

What age groups do you support?

Peak Academy is best suited to students who are of the age of 15 to 19 years of age. We will accept students that are in their RSA grade 9 year.

Can my parents first set up a meeting with Peak-Online before enrolling?
We understand that parents are often the ones that need persuading or simply need more information before jumping right in. We welcome parents to contact us to set up a virtual meeting to walk your parents through the process and answer any questions they may have.
