Vision
Academic Excellence through Relationship
We endeavour to understand our students, learn about their strengths and weaknesses, so that we can build them up. Academic routes are a cornerstone ot being a student at Peak. Once we have a plan in place, we then focus on forging strong relationships with our students to removing all previous barriers to learning and allowing for academic growth and prosperity.

Academic Route
Grade 8
Our grade 8 course is designed to address all prior knowledge gaps that may have formed in Primary school years, and creating a solid foundation for future learning.
This is a 12-month programme and focuses on student's Mathematics, English and Afrikaans skills, while getting exposure to the Sciences, Digital Art and Critical Thinking subjects.
Grade 10
Grade 10 marks the start of a Peak Student's IGCSE journey. Each IGCSE subject is an 18 month course that is divided into three semesters.
Grade 9
The grade 9 year focuses on preparation. We introduce IGCSE level subjects and topic to our grade 9 students to promote a seamless transition to IGCSE.
We focus on the same subjects as in grade 8, but we introduce more opportunities for students become Self Directed Learners. We also have a project focused on job shadowing throughout the year to gain valuable insight into potential careers, and therefore subject choice for IGCSE.
