Small Classes with Discussion Based, Active Learning
Small Classes
In South Africa the number of high schools is not keeping up with the volume of applications, causing class sizes to swell beyond 30 students. At PEAK, we believe that small classes are the key to success. We limit out class sizes to Maximum 10 students, resulting in more than three times the student-to-teacher interaction in a given class.
Discussion Based Learning
Due to our smaller classes, the lessons are no longer solely teacher centred. Students are encouraged to ask questions, they are asked questions and class discussions on the content of the lesson are common place at PEAK. By our students engaging in the class, they are active participants in their education and learning.
Cambridge International
We follow the Cambridge International Education syllabi, which are recognised globally and they offer our students a learning experience that is comprehensive. Cambridge is a leader in the education sector, offering a curriculum that has adapted and grown over the past 160 years.
